H.E. Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of AALCO made his first visit to Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan, on 3 February 2023 on the occasion of his invitational visit to Japan arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. During his visit, the Secretary-General made a courtesy call on Dr. Ueki Tomoko, President of Doshisha University, Professor Atarashi Shigeyuki and Professor Takasugi Naoshi, Vice Presidents of the University. He met with Professor Rikihisa Masayuki, Dean of Faculty of Law, and other professors of the Faculty to exchange views on ways to augment the cooperation between AALCO and Doshisha University based on the MOU signed by both sides in 2021. The Secretary-General also visited President Okada Haruo, Japan Association of Arbitrators, and exchanged views on recent developments in relation to international commercial mediation.
