H.E. Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, the Secretary General of AALCO was invited by the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) at the inaugural session of its 50th Annual Conference, which was held in New Delhi, India from 29-31 July 2022.
The Secretary General delivered the address at the Inaugural session held on Friday, 29 July 2022. Hon’ble Mr. Justice S. Ravindra Bhat, Judge, Supreme Court of India was the Chief Guest, H.E. Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of AALCO and Ms. Uma Sekhar, Additional Secretary, Legal and Treaties Division, Ministry of External Affairs , Government of India were invited as the Guest of Honour for the session.
The Secretary General highlighted the long standing engagements of AALCO and ISIL on various occasions. He also pressed upon the contributions of the ISIL to the field of International law. He touched briefly upon the sub-themes of the session and informed the attendees about the updates on the work done by AALCO in those areas.
He concluded by thanking the ISIL and especially the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA), Government of India in particular for the consistent support provided to AALCO in all its endeavours. He hoped for deeper cooperation with MEA and ISIL in the future.
