H.E. Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of AALCO paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Yamada Kenji, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, on 1 February 2023 during his invitational visit to Japan arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The State Minister welcomed the Secretary-General and reiterated the support of Japan to AALCO. The Secretary-General thanked the State Minister for inviting him to Japan and for Japan's continuous support to the Organization in many venues. The State Minister also underscored the importance of the Rule of Law and roles played by Japan and AALCO in the area. The Secretary-General appreciated Japan's efforts for enhancing the Rule of Law. The two seized this opportunity to discuss means to further augment the relationship between Japan and AALCO.
